What to do when a card image is missing

Occasionally a trading card image may fail to load in Cardstashr due to CDN changes or network issues. Cardstashr provides multiple ways to fix or replace missing card images in your digital binder.

1Check Your Internet Connection for Image Loading

Ensure you have an active internet connection. Cardstashr caches images locally as data URLs but the initial image load requires network access to fetch from the source.

2Replace the Missing Image with a Custom Photo

Flip the card and use the image replacement feature to upload a custom image such as a photo or scan of your physical card.

3Re-Add the Card to Fetch a Fresh Image URL

If the image source URL has changed, remove the card from your binder and re-add it via search. The new entry fetches the latest image URL from the database.

Cardstashr caches card images as local data URLs to prevent future loading issues. Once cached, images display reliably even offline. If issues persist, try re-adding the card from Cardstashr search, TCGPlayer, Scryfall, or Trading Card Dex.
